With less snow presently than usual, there is another snowstorm on the way tomorrow which will leave the ground with nearly eight of more inches. Here so far it hasn’t been bad and one is hoping that it stays status quo as long as possible. Came home from the dentist which fortunately wasn’t that bad as one’s appointment was later and was taken earlier. Just wanted it to be over with for obvious reasons. One is an aficionado for many things. Sports which one favours some over others, music which one has more of an appreciation for more types. Namely soundtracks from movies. Some of them believe it or not are of a classical nature. One composer who comes to mind is Alexander Duplait. His compositions are breathtaking to hear. He has composed many, namely ” The Painted Veil”, The Girl With A Pearl Earring: The Kings Speech and of course more. If one isn’t familiar with classical music then one may just take a listen to some soundtracks and immediately one will automatically change one’s view. Speaking of sports and the art of ice skating, years ago Jonny Weir skated divinely to piece of ravishing, radiant music entitled ” The Swan”. Recently one was doing some research and found that this was composed by Camille Saint-Sains. Actually found it accidently for Saint-Sains did a rendition of a song called “Night” sung marvelously by Jackie Wilson. If one takes a moment to do some research on things it would be worth the time. For instance the movie with Dirk Bogarde ” Death in Venice” Only part of the music is from the third and fifth movements of Gustav Mahler. That is the same with Camile Saint-Saens. It is from the Swan Movement. Incidently this composer knew and studied with Mozart. It is astounding that these sagas were written over a century ago and are still appreciated today.

“Beautiful”

One might say that this title is somewhat tongue and cheek. The word is use frequently by a very well known and respected journalist, and one hopes he doesn’t mind in the least for one using it too. It would be the greatest form of flattery. While one was happily filling ones favourites with items of personal interest, some of the sites were on youtube, which in itself in fine. However there were several times while in the start of a process of listening to entertaining material, there were ads that had nothing whatsoever to do with the contents. This being ads of christian dating which had the word Our Lord within its realm. This to oneself was completely and utterly unnecessary. It seemed that to do this was to bring attention because one wouldn’t be able to receive it in any other way. How fruitless was this? While thinking it would be positive it would attain nothing and furthermore it would be go in the opposite direction. With clouds abundance there is a beautiful patch of blue in the sky and it is still mild weatherwise. How great is that!

“Pay The Piper”

Ok, This is the second time one has attempt this. First time wordpress said one wasn’t logged on and one had to cancel the draft. They had mistakingly posted only a few lines of it. So one has to realise that people are human. This has been a worldwind of accomplishments for a week craming in all that has to be done and things that one doesn’t ordinarily do for lack of time. One being phoning friends to wish them New Year’s greeting. Wished a couple of them birthday happinesses. Finished a book previously named and started on another one” The Romance of Destiny Fanny Stevenson” by Alexandra La Pierre. Went to the grocery and did laundry all in one day. Went to the dentist on Tuesday for the second time and have to go again on Thursday. Each having one’s mouth numbed. Have to replace a bridge. This time had an impression made. What a ordeal and unpleasant as well. Had pictures taken, the whole nine yards. Now wonder why one’s son Andre doesn’t like dentists in the least. The whole process seemed like forever only took an hour and a half. It is an necessary evil. It all has to do with health, and speaking of that, have been making an effort to eat better. It again is a chore yet necessary. Still one is off of diet coke and all cookies. Seems like it’s Lent all over again. Got an ad and a survey in the mail about wolves and the killing them. Seems that the wildlife organisation noticed that one lived in Wisconsin they thought that one would be interested in it. They thought wrong. Wasn’t interested in their eyes and in their way of thinking. Have to always respect people’s choices and rights of expression. There is a fresh amount of snowfall which isn’t that bad as the sun is shining brightly on the surface of the earth.

With the years end, and a brand new year just as the calendar is moments away, one has to reflect on what’s been accomplished of course in a general sense. As for most, events have been in normalcy. On a personal note one couldn’t sleep in comfortability last night for the fact that the heat was turned up to such a volumn. Guess it was ones own fault b/c one was turning it in the opposite direction, instead of counterclockwise, this was according to management who was kind enough to come to one’s efficiency apt and checked it. So had it taken care of without a problem. The temperatures here are going downward next week. Let me digress for a moment. A question comes to mind. Why did the U.S sell planes to Saudi Arabia which was an agreement in exchange for a bill of legislation being passed by Congress? Thought for the most part that it was underhanded and didn’t want to take the time and read the article. Just saw the headlines, which was fine in ones way of thinking. It is a shame that the U.S. is doing that while in many suburban communities people have to resort and go to food pantries. These people who are doing this are still working a full time job, use to be middle class, had the wearwithall to be able to afford nice things. Some of these people have college educations and are in professions of high skill. However they have been out of work for maybe half a year, or going on three. Most have been volunteering in the past at the same pantries that they now frequent. They are unable to afford extra expenses which are asked by their children’s schools and have to tell the child no that it isn’t in their budget. Most of these people are going to these food pantries for the very first time as tears are rolling down their faces in appreciation for the places that are in existance in the first place so they may have food in their stomachs. In order to do that they must shallow their pride in order to feed themselves along with their families. Before they were in this plight, they couldn’t imagine this happening, and it was the furthest from their minds. Many suburbia communities such as Wheaten to name one was a focus of a news piece. These places were formally affluent. An observation comes to mind at this point. If one views a stately mansion, three or more vehicles, a boat on the surface. This could be most deceiving. For these people could be up in their eyeballs in debt and struggling like the rest only in a different way.

“An Explanation”

On this serene Christmas, one for some unknown reason thought of an explanation to a well deserved question asked by several of one’s friends throughout the course of one’s life thusfar. Earlier one couldn’t give an answer whether it being adequate or being explicit. Needless to say, the question is as follows. Why do Catholics go to a priest to confess their sins instead of telling God what wrong they have done and therefore asking God’s forgiveness? After pondering this from time to time and not losing any sleep over it: one has come up with an obvious answer. The answer is as follows. The priest is a mediator or go-between. If one wants something one would necessarily ask a mother for the mother is naturally going to give what is asked more readily. So Catholics ask the Blessed Virgin Mary for things that are become important in a person’s life. She is again a mediator between the person asking God or for that matter Jesus. Again it is easier to ask the infant Jesus for things too. Hope one isn’t going off the beaten track. So as these are in the spiritual sense. Persons who are of the human sense wants another like themselves and priests being human as all know full well fill the bill in providing a conversations which make the persons feel at ease and therefore provide comfortability. Priests also have the power to give absolution. So therefore a person may feel free of sin or wrongfulness. There have been many Non Catholics who have ask the confessional question to oneself. Now the Catholics are now Christians like the Protestants. There are many types of Protestants. Now there are two types of Catholics, the Roman and the Byzantine which originated in the eastern part of the world. Now there is a byzantine catholic christian church in America. There is a website dedicated to it. Ones practise is to strip away religions and treat persons as persons afterall each person has the same blood running through their veins and have the exact or similiar feelings to oneself.

“A Fluke”

With just a trace of snow gracing the surface yet somewhat chilly weather forthcoming, the holidays are well underway. While waiting patiently to see the dentist recently, one was viewing a magazine”Mens Journal” dedicated to sports with ads directed to men. It was most refreshing. Came across an article which was particularly with intriguing and intrinsically known to most individuals. It dealt with the sport of ice hockey and several deaths as a result of taking part in it. One may add that football with the various injuries that some players are beginning to file lawsuits against this sport. In both cases these two activities have enough protection for the players. It is a fluke pure and simple. Both football and ice hockey are played with strategy. There are specific rules against violence and heavy fines are paid for the culprits. One can’t in anyway compare these mentioned activities to the sport of boxing. That is regarded as violent with the audience egging the participants involvement. It is good though despite the items in the way, one doesn’t necessarily refer it to risks. In order for one to partake in a sport one must totally love it and give it their all.

“A Process”

As a quiet evening is underway and this is the first blog that is being scripted momentarily, one wonders if this will be the only one for this month. If it is that will be alright. A process originated with a thought initially early at the beginning of the month or it could have been toward the end of the previous month. That thought originated into action. It all began with one being at the mall or at the supermarket mainly being away from the apartment and thinking how nice and convenient it would be if one would take it upon oneself to not borrow a cell phone again from anyone. To be able to use one’s own mobile phone. So trying to decide on which carrier wasn’t to difficult. Went to the mall and noticed that several carriers were at one’s disposal. Knowing that one was familiar with at&t and had excellent service with them as one has a land-line thought it would be appropriate. So chatted with radioshack, went to several stores and noticed some being advertised right in full view as one was strolling to the different stores. Filled out the proper procedures with at&t then chatted with verizon as well, as some of one’s relatives have that. One must interject at this point that radioshack was practicing some high jinks which hadn’t been surprising as they have had a history of that. So finally decided with cricket which one is most pleased. This is ones first mobile phone and one caught on once one had erased the nervousness about it and just relaxed and was fine. Actually one must say that one had a very patient teacher with instruction about the operation of it. Now at this point in time one already had activated it and with again the same patient teacher and filled out the proper notification online, will be making ones first of many payments gladly as well. Used it at the mall the other day to phone a greencab. Will be going to the dentist next week too. Then again it will serve a useful purpose while traveling. What a great decision this was!

“Let It Be”

With a light drizzling of rain, it seems refreshing as one was strolling in the environs. Then was composing some thoughts/ notes in one’s head to be ready to blog. Then the computer was running very slow and almost at a standstill which was most irritating, then on top of that one had composed on a different page not once but twice, and thinking that wordpress had changed their format, then had to trash the two drafts too. How annoying is that. Running a scan as one is blogging. One’s keyboard was acting freaky too. So now after nearly 100 words and free of frustration one will proceed. The title has a certain connotion to some. So let one practise decommision while scripting on a serious topic. Notice in a couple of pieces, the new president of N.I. is very up to having Ireland united: the Catholic Mass is going through another positive change: the Pope is again speaking of the sexual abuse. Lets address the last first. Pedophilia has been practised in different and all professions. So it could be practised less or not at all if priests had the option to marry and not practise celibracy. It would disintegrate in some degree therefore eventually dissipate. All professions have a dissolution regardless. It is an excellent concept the new president of N.I. is transforming into actions. The new change in the Catholic Mass brings about a wonderful understanding that will embrace all of mankind.

On this day there is a snowfall which is beautifully breathtaking for the moment however it is just an inch or so and doesn’t couver the roads only the lawns, trees etc., and yet a glimpse of snowfalls to come. Fortunately later this week the weather will be warmer and the snow will disappear from view. One will attempt to correlate two thoughts into one. Let’s say hypothetically speaking, if for instance someone had an inner scar which over the course of time had harden. This stands to reason b/c scars are a grains of sand therefore maybe blown away however if the scars are ingrained with water it hardens and becomes a muddy substance. Now just suppose if the scars would be liquefied with the assistance of some safe chemical these scars would eventually soften over time and therefore some of the particals would slowly break off and go within the person’s system. Just reading an innovated article which was highly impressive concerning Graybug LLC. Its founder is Justin Hanes a biotech professor at John’s Hopkins University who is also co-founded Kala Pharaceuticals. With a new month underway, as one had a morning stroll viewed the dew on the lawn and the sparkling twinkling like rare diamonds as the sun was shining upon the earth. What a sight to behold. There is a calming effect upon oneself as one keeps in constant touch with family and friends. Having the choice to choose what one wants to do daily, the freedom to plan without interference, to be able to chat things over beforehand, the safety in which one resides, the convenience of daily activities at ones disposal, being able to have ones health intact means everything, having people in ones life who truly care for who one is means a great deal. This is an explanation of the title at hand. Been seeing quite a few movies which are categorically excellent. These namely are: The Kings Speech, The Boxer, Leaves Of Grass that momentarily come to mind. What performances and yet diverse too. Just started a book by Tony Blair My Journey. These are all highly recommended and actually worth the time. One keeps in mind items of importance only as well as people of importance which makes life easier in the long run. And the rest is rubbish.
