” A Balancing Act”

Spring, a variety of patterns become this fond season. Just recently while walking at night with the streetlights bright along with the illuminating parking lights: it was raining more like sleeting with the wind blowing and the rain was moving rapidly sideways. It was truly a sight as I was rushing to the grocery store. Everything is a balancing act, whether it being a conversation with someone, or anything else imaginable. How fortunate is that, with careful knowhow to be precisely correct, and it is most difficult to do at certain times to be exact. It is an art something that is natural and never learned. Speaking with a friend who is elderly who lives in Alabama, she was saying in the long course of chatting that she had made a doctor’s appointment yet had to make it later that sooner. She has many health issues and rightfully so, with no fault of her own it is just the way it is being that she has lived many years. Was speaking to someone else as his doctor was retiring and he needed an appointment couldn’t make it immediately as he has to wait a month or so. There just isn’t enough doctors and ones who are excellent aren’t in demand. It doesn’t matter whether you have insurance or not the wait is just the same regardless. This is an outrage. The price of medicines are astronomical. That too is very wrong. There shouldn’t be a choice of paying rent, utilities food and medicine if you need it. The first three are vital to the human existence. There is a huge difference between what a person needs and their wants. Some are a means of mere survival. It is terrible to be force to make a choice of basic necessity and medicine which if you need that should be at a discounted price or near to nothing as at least a person can afford it. This is when it has to be repeatedly consumed daily. Health insurance should be discounted so the person is able to obtain it especially if needed. Knowing that nothing is free and if it is there is something wrong with that scenario. However it should be affordable as medicine if needed. Some people don’t have any life or health insurance because of the cost. I might add this blogger is one of a many, simply for the fact the cost is unreachable. There are many worries and that is unfortunately on the back burner. In fact that shouldn’t be the case, as many more are in the same plight. I think more of others before myself, thinking if others who are close to me are ok than that will make me ok. That is reality in my estimation.
