” Yet Still Another”

June 27, 2015

The overnight hours brings a true sense of relevancy. Being a genuine movie buff with particular cinemas in mind comes a mesmerizing documentary” What Happened, Miss Simone? viewed with my good friend yesterday. It is my intent to just simply wait for movies that are worthwhile instead of wasting time just seeing anything that comes down the path just for the sake of it, for time is too precious to waste and furthermore not a living soul has the capacity to turn back time and relive the past to make the time worth it. All the controversy of Whole Foods which was negative overshadows the fact of the owner which has a novel idea and in fact puts it into practice. With the great abundance of food wasted daily. He has had some food which he sells at rock bottom prices to those people who can’t afford food because of the high expense. These people are the working poor. These food products are fine and edible yet at the same time these are just on the verge of being discarded. So instead of doing that this owner takes this food and stores it in a place which is a grocery store which is called” The Daily Table”. The working poor which consists of 60% of the population doesn’t want and will never take a handout! That in fact is one of many of my rules. It’s easy to say to a person” So why don’t you go to a food bank if you are hungry” It is easy to say that statement to another person just because that person isn’t doing that. That person is giving advice to deaf ears. So people for the most part should mind their own business just take a hold of their own affairs and not just give advice without being asked. Now here is a story which is hard to make short because I have the tendency to go in many directions so I will try to condense this story. It was a week ago tomorrow which is a timeframe. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful cheery day. Had my mind focused on giving a birthday present to my friend and in fact it was my second cousin Sara’s birthday on the same day. As I was walking on the pavement I happened to see a woman with two small dogs. She wasn’t paying any attention to these dogs on the leashes as she was just running her mouth yakking away to some gentleman and monopolizing the conversation. She saying fifty words as he was trying to be polite. As I approached I recall stopping, waiting patiently to let me pass as there is a small passageway. I was watching and paying full attention. As I walked forward there was one of the leashes out of the way. I looked and went to pass not trying to be rude. I tumbled over the leash and hit face first on the pavement. I was stunned for a moment and then the woman was crowding me and gentleman was very concerned and asked me if I would perhaps like to sit down. I mentioned thanks just I was fine, as I gathered up my glasses which were scratched on the right lens, which made those glasses useless. Oh I immediately gathered up the birthday present which was fine that made me feel good inside. Now I have been wearing these other glasses which I prefer the others more attractive specs and I like those better than these. However the angels were around me once again.

” Another”

The cooler days brought plenty of rain these pass few days which is a pleasant relief from the heat of the day. The Stanley Cup Playoff is history as the Chicago Blackhawks took glory in the final six games. What was disappointing yet not typical was when the Cup was raised above the head of the start of many players, the local station stopped the proceedings in midstream and the local news came on which to everyone’s mind was news worthy except for me and of course to a few others. In basketball the playoffs were gladly awarded to the Golden State Warriors of Oakland which was deservedly so. Speaking of this state, wonderful governor Walker is running for president of the U.S. This man doesn’t even have a college education and boosts about the fact. There was an article in the Washington Post about this governor stating that he wanted teacher’s and the union to separate and it supposedly was successful in this state he is taking it nationwide. What is ridiculous is the expression divide and conquer however he actually believes this to be true. Another fact is that if a person is receiving ebt for some legitimate reason. The person will be tested for illegal drugs just because that person is receiving food stamps. This governor is taking away the badger care for those who work. Therefore the only way a person who may receive badger care is not to work or have any job at all. If for instance a person winds up in the hospital with absolutely not a drop of insurance to pay for the stay it would be catastrophic. To make matters worse this governor refused any kind of federal money and has taken the state badger care in its place. While on the subject of insurance another secret is that I myself don’t have any dental insurance and recalling when I came to this state: had to pay a dentist $800 for a total of a few visits. The reason for going to the dentist initially is to have a checkup and the dentist who is very reliable found gum disease which was serious to the health of my teeth and could be detrimental if not treated in other words a person could loose all their teeth. Fortunately it was caught in time yet was stage two. Once a person has periodontal disease it should be checked periodically and never overlooked this. Also while there, had a bridge put in on the right side of the month. Fortunately it has lasted five years and counting hopefully. Still making ends meet which is extremely important!

” A Secret”

June 7, 2015

An absolutely wonderful birthday just within a short time ago, was very memorable! Got loads of cards, well wishes and surprises which are the best kind! One in particular was sent by my older son which was delectable fruit edibles. Had three inflatable colorful balloons which one of them expressed Happy Birthday! My younger son published his book” Perdition’s Epilogue Book 1 on Amazon! This book has sold many copies and it is dedicated to me! How beautiful is this, such a tender gesture. He is working on the Book 2 which is dedicated to his late Dad! This particular book is especially good too. His writing flows so naturally as he has such unique talent. Another birthday was June 2nd which was my late sister, Christine’s. I only wished that I had known her better: although am pleased that I knew her at all. I was eight years older than she. Another birthday that is arriving very soon is my wonderful dear cousin, Mike’s who I recall to be very caring the last time I saw him five years ago that he pursed is lips in a sign of a kiss as I was riding away. I so love him always. Yet another birthday that is arriving shortly after my dear cousin’s is my very good friend Alynn’s which is the 21st. Still yet another birthday which comes on the 26th is my sweet cousin’s Claudia on the father’s side of the family. In fact it is noticeable that I had an engaging very long conversation which lasted nearly 3 hours with her today. A secret that is told to you is the best kind if you keep it to yourself which I will take many of them to my grave ( afterlife). Many of them have been told to me in confidentiality. A secret which I want to say which I am very proud is that I haven’t been to a medical doctor for a checkup since a year after my younger son was born. In my way of thinking is that people run to the doctor for anything and everything. Those people have insurance. So not a big deal. The only medical doctor I have is Doctor Michael B. Shapiro. He will be the only doctor in my life. This is fine with me. As the expression goes”, beg, borrow and steal to make ends meet” each month, in a technical sense. Not a charity case either, by any sense of the imagination. Just know in my heart what is right and wrong and that is what matters.
