” Full Circle”

November 24, 2016

I have come full circle. This is my third blog this month and I am in Rochester! Love it here. People are friendly, the place is beautiful! Plane ride was one of a kind! Sat next to a guy from Green Bay, Wisconsin who lives in Rochester and he is an accountant.
Andre and his roommate John are wonderful and very gentlemanly like! Even carried my luggage to the car and to the house. Feel so at home here. There is the Genesee River which spams all the way to downtown. There is an unique covered bridge over the river. The snow is here but will be gone this weekend! It will be in the 50’s. I first was l sitting on a chair and had the computer leaning against another chair it was quite uncomfortable so now I have the computer on the mattress and I am sitting here. So far so good. I say whatever works go for it! Keeping in touch with lifelong friends and family. My niece Liz has sent me a couples to boxes of winter items, sweaters, boots, jeans and other items and some tea. She is sensational. Asked me if I needed anything and I said yes asked me what size, I told her. One box will be arriving on December 1st and the other box will be here on the 2nd of December, or sooner. My dearest lifetime friend Alynn is sending me a tracking number for my winter items along with Andre’s items too! He is very busy with personal things that are vital and so have to wait patiently! So now my son wants to lie down and get some needed rest! Until next month when I have a doctor’s appointment and wonderful things to discover!

” Processing And Planning”

November 17, 2016

With unusual better than warmth in the air for this month it is a pleasant change however not for a length of time. There have been fires in the Georgia Mountains and one of them unfortunately deliberately set. This isn’t the only southern state which have been deluged with fires. A couple of other states are in the same boat with those who have been sent from their homes. It is sad and more so because of the terrible drought which have plagued this area of the country. Going outside is a major concern for everyone. Your throat, nostrils and eyes are affected in some way. You can smell the scent of smoke as far down to Atlanta which is quite a way from where the fires originated.
Keeping amazingly calm as I am continuously occupied with positive aspects of life. Working into the night from the early time of day it is good to keep my mind going with something that is focused, and uplifting. Cokes and coffee are stimulating to the body and aids in the process of going longer and at a faster pace. A break in between with snacks and eating well makes for a stronger healthier time. A couple of sweets are good too.
Resting when I am exhausted is good and I sleep and wake up refreshed to start processing and planning my time. Dreaming is the first step. Second of all the processing then comes the planning then last of all acting upon it.
I have always been analytical all my life and can’t be anything but that. Some people have said ” I think too much” and that is true. This is about everything! So I sometimes have to catch myself and just be systematic about the important aspects of life. Main thing I have to stay calm. I was noticing while I was blogging a few seconds ago I was getting a little irritated not a lot but just for a second! Now I’m ok. I’m copacetic! Easy flowing!! I notice too when I am blogging typing I somehow lose the cursor. So have to concentrate very hard. Then I won’t get annoyed with myself! Have to keep that in mind. It happens when I go at a rapid pace then I have to slow down a bit!! It is all in a learning process to keep calm with myself!! And it is working! I’m succeeding which is most important for me!! Good job Grace!!!

” Going Home”

November 6, 2016

Going Home at last finally after all these years! Just thinking after coming from the state of Maryland going to the Midwest, then traveling through it always thought inwardly about traveling to New York State. Again then traveling from Ohio to the long journey to Alabama again my thoughts were of New York State. While travelling along the scenic roads in Wisconsin, still again my thoughts were New York State. I leave in two weeks from today on a night flight. Actually wouldn’t you know that my two suit cases are nearly packed. Yes they are!
Have to yet print my ticket which will be done this week. Then installing the venetian blind in my room. It is already purchased. Have to do the rest of Shon’s house which is only the downstairs room adjacent to the kitchen and then the garage. It is going to be four people doing it including myself. Should take a decent time perhaps Called Social Security and everything is set up, asked pertinent questions. The lady was very direct and kind. Alynn my lifetime friend will send my winter clothes along with the rest of Andre’s items on the 19th the day I leave Georgia. Speaking of this state it was nice, scenic and people were friendly and kind.
Have to make a correction. I weighed myself and it read 82.5 pounds. I told Shon and the scale is 4 pounds off, it
is up not down. So the reading was 86.5. At least that is slightly better. Have been reminding myself to eat protein so I will get a spoon of peanut butter each day. Been doing that for 5 days straight. So that is something making an effort at least. Will be living with my son and his roommate temporarily, then getting an apartment of my own. In fact Andre has been looking for me. Then I will get an apartment nearby in Rochester. And yet I am here to stay. Never moving from New York State again. I have come full circle!
